Associative dimensioning saves your time by mechanizing the dimensioning process. Whenever you change the geometry of your drawing , the dimension will change automatically. AutoCAD 2002 gives you the option of drag and drop hatching. Now all you need is to find your desired hatch pattern from .pat file and drag them on the area in the drawing where you want hatching.
