Players take control of a skilled but vulnerable ninja as he sets out to protect his fading clan by hiding in the shadows and using darts, firecrackers, and traps to get the drop on enemies. The ninja can only take one or two bullets before dying, and fog covers areas he cannot see, so noisy kills, visible corpses, and getting caught in the light can mean a quick end to his mission. Sometimes it's simply best for gamers to avoid confrontation altogether.
